My opinion on this (possibly a hot take):
I don't really support any side since both have done some terrible things, though it is worth to note that because of this war, there has been lots or Jews around the world that are being hated on, specifically in the U.S. Kids who have no involvement in the war are getting bullied because they are Jewish
Just putting it out there
EXCUSE ME BUT WHAT THE FUCK
NO
ISRAEL WANTS TO DROP A NUCLEAR BOMB ON PALESTINE
WHAT THE FUCK
THOSE ARE PEOPLE, INNOCENT HUMAN BEINGS WHO DESERVE TO LIVE.

I’m sorry for being a bit rude but
THOUSANDS OF FUCKING HUMANS ARE BEING KILLED IN A GENOCIDE IT DOES NOT MATTER WHOS DOING IT IT NEEDS TO STOP
POLITICS LATER, NOT KILLING PEOPLE NOW
I never mentioned politics, I just said that Jewish kids in the U.S were being bullied even though they had no involvement
that’s not good, but OVER 10,000 INNOCENT PALESTINIANS, MANY OF WHICH WHO ARE CHILDREN, HAVE BEEN MURDERED OVER ~60 DAYS, I THINK YOU MAY BE MISSING THE IMPORTANT BIT
Israelit's were murdered too. I'm not ignoring that Palestinians were murdered, but I want to give insight on all sides, not just the Palestinians’ side
This is a gross oversimplification.
If the IDF pulled out of Gaza tomorrow, any progress towards peace in Israel/Palestine AND IN THE ENTIRE MIDDLE EAST would be derailed. As long as Hamas has control over Gaza, there will be no progress towards a Palestinian state. None.
Hamas must be defeated/dissolved, it’s basically a necessary step to bring peace to the region. Stopping the war now is basically just pushing the problem back until the next time Hamas attacks. I’m sad to say it, but in the long term it will be a good thing. Lasting peace will come sooner.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT DO YOU THINK THAT THAT EVEN COMES CLOSE TO JUSTIFYING A LITERAL GENOCIDE OF CIVILLIANS??? TENS OF THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT HUMAN BEINGS WHO COULD HAVE HAD LIVES, DEAD CHILDREN WHO HAD DREAMS AND FAMILIES ARE DEAD, PARENTS, DOCTORS, BAKERS, EVERYONE IN BETWEEN.
PALESTINE IS NOT HAMAS, I AM NOT DEFENDING HAMAS, I AM DEFENDING PALESTINE, I AM DEFENDING HUMANS, ARE YOU A THREAT????
Dude stop going crazy.
I don’t have that strong of an opinion. I would probably change it if faced with some differing facts. Like your comment, for example.
I don’t think my opinion (which is saying the prevailing geopolitical opinion, just read the Economist for proof) warrants an all-caps response though.
I shouldn’t have gotten into the argument though, in the first place. I was regretting posting the original comment actually.
I SAID I WOULDN’T ARGUE UNLESS I SAW SOMETHING REALLY STUPID, AND BROTHER YOU’VE FUFILLED THAT CONDITION
Geez you forgot to read his take below. He literally said BOTH sides were doing terrible things. Clearly you have tunnel vision because you can't accept both sides
YEAH, maybe hamas or even Palestine has taken hostages,
maybe they have done some things against Israel,
but Israel has done a WHOOOOOOLE lot worse
anyway I'm done talking to you plebs you've lost 99% of
whatever respect I had for you
cya losers I'm not talking to ya'll anymore
maybe try to research what's been happening in
Palestine <3
Wow. Just wow. I express my opinions and you go out of your way to cyber-shame me I thought wasteof.money would be a safer place for me
israel turned “oh no a bombing on our music festival, and ppl being held hostage!?! ruh roh!” into “i’m gonna bomb a school and wipe out 27k people to kill a small group of terrorists”
My opinion: Both sides have done war crimes, both sides deserve at least some land in that region, both sides are run by extremists (far-right Israeli government on one side, literal terrorists on the other), and there can never be peace until the extremists on both sides are gone. That means getting rid of Hamas entirely, and getting Netanyahu and his crew out of the government.
Then, a 2-state solution can occur (either with both states in one federal nation, or separate nations entirely). That would pave the way for peace in the entire Middle East region.
