update 2: they blocked bit talk, but only bit talk. not caratscript, word of the day…
looks like they hate bit talk!!!
update: it got unblocked
looks like it was just a local thing
school blocks my replit domain for some reason
uses a replit proxy to access my replit domain
edit: to clarify, it only blocked my domain (8bitjake.repl.co), no other replit domains were blocked.
i’ve hidden an easter egg in the bit talk api, wonder what it is?

here’s how things will work:
posts and user data will still be held in the json file, for api purposes
passwords will be held on an private database, separate from the rest of the data
bit of a talk (renamed to bit talk) is going well
except for the fact that all the data is stored in an unsecured json file which anyone could find by viewing the source for the website
although i have an idea…
does anyone here know how to make an API URL only accessible via GET requests on a specific website and not available by viewing the page itself?
this is what i mean:
if you try to view the page manually, that doesn’t work
anything other than a GET request doesn’t work either
and GET requests only go through on a specific website

my school wipes chromebooks when you sign out which sucks
although it doesnt take much time to restore my extensions and bookmarks but it still sucks
