i’ve been arguing about why 9/11 jokes are bad but will now stop because it’s contributing to toxicity on this website.

my position has not changed, i believe 9/11 jokes are not okay, but i will stop arguing about it with people from now on. my comments will be left up but i’m done arguing this, i understand that everyone has their own views and that i can’t change that.

because times square is a tourist scam trap. it’s literally what you would see if overdone advertisements was a place. when i go through times square i usually think “why do people say this is the heart of nyc it’s so underwhelming.”

do yourself a favor and take in the real new york, outside of times square. lots restaurants there are chains anyways and if you are in nyc you should eat one of our many amazing local restaurants.

deeply saddened to see that this conduct is on wasteof.money. making fun of terror attacks is where i draw the line. 9/11 killed 2,996 people and isn’t something that’s acceptable to joke about, even if you are desperate to be quirky or funny.
