it’s truly baffling to me, that when people think of Russia, they think it is all just a dry snowy wasteland, the biggest country in the world, being just entirely flat and snowy lol.

yes Russia has the Taiga, which is snowy for a long time, but the Taiga isnt the entirety of Russia, you have literal Greece like weather down in Sochi, the Altai mountains, the Urals, giant fields of flowers, etc.
