I think the reason why my .aup3
files kept corrupting itself is because I store my projects in NTFS on a Linux machine
For reasons unknown to me, writing big files on it will result in the file itself (not the tables stored in the files) corrupting on a low level (seen by the “Input-output error” when accessing the files)
The only way I can fix this is to change the file system of my external HDD to something like exFAT (so Windows can still read it), but I gotta have to eat some brave pills to do that
