Would it be better to communicate in shapes or emojis? Think about it.

“Would it be better to use white or kneaded erasers?”

There are two different meanings to ths question. The first meaning is choosing between [white] and [kneaded erasers], but the second one is choosing from your regular eraser to [white or kneaded erasers], because in that meaning, [white or kneaded eraser] is a noun itself, and on the first meaning, they are different nouns and the [or] marks the decision, but on the first meaning, [Would] marks the first decision. They can be distinguished by what tone you speak the sentence in, but since I'm writing in text, you can only go off of context clues.

Same for the question:

“Would it be better to communicate in shapes or emojis?”

In this case, the white eraser are the [shapes] and the kneaded eraser are the [emojis], and I mean that question by the second meaning, just like the first question.
