Let’s play a game of “Fortunately, Unfortunately“. Respond the previous post (the first comment below this post) by replying this post (not the previous post!)
I’ll start with: “I found this website.“
It’s the early 2020s. I was a PMTOK fan, and I had an interest with YTPs. So I thought I’ll have a crack at sentence mixing with my newly-found power of phonology (I was a bit into conlanging back then)
The Audacity project file (yes I made it there, the video part is up to the imagination) is probably long gone now, but I still remembered some sound bites of it:
“King Olly is sus” (scene of an imposter on Among Us that got ejected out)
the glitching of the phrase “in the paper-crafted universe of the Paper Mario series”, one with Sticker taken from the PMSS trailer
the asdfmovie8 big baby “wah” sound in one of the intermission slides; thought it was funny
“…and the stout, shitty, and sticky, (PMSS trailer) Sticker Star” (this one is probably the most impressive because it sounds so natural; no trace of it originally saying “shifty”)
I think the sound “toad” is pasted somewhere funny, but there’s a note clarifying it’s not Toad the fungus but toad the frog
and that’s all that I remember from it. It’s not a particularly humorous YTP, since honestly I made it just for fun, less so to make it entertaining (and also it was my second ever YTP)
I feel like I need to have a 90’s era webdev book if I want to support IE 5 for TBGDB
I found it funny when people overestimate the power of embedded computers
“I have a Pi 0 2W” “ooh you should make it host a web server” as if that puny board can stand thousands of requests lol
Can we have peace

not that I’m complaining since I like this one
after beating as much pikuniku as i can, i think i can give my verdict: (mild spoilers incoming?)
it’s definitely not a game you should play in one sitting.
i think it’s best played when you’re in a busy schedule. the busier, the better (though some of the challenges does allocate quite a lot of time). that way the gameplay spreads from a few hours, to a few days, weeks, or even months (if you’re that busy). if you rush it, you’ll not feel the charm as thoroughly as you might hope. the narrative at the end, especially, doesn’t really grip if you just hustle your way on the main route (not that there's any diverging paths besides the five (!) side quests i found, with three just building on another). i really should’ve played it when i was busy on my campus (maybe i will on a new save)
other than that, it’s an excellent game. the soundtrack is superb, it really screams fun and playful (the swamp is my favorite, alongside toastopia). gotta love the accordion and the cuica that appears sometimes. the art design, oh, they nailed that. worthy to be put alongside boxboy in terms of simplicity. and cuteness. =) maybe a little bit more content could be better—a time attack on some of the minigames or something other than the co-op, which is unplayable due to a lack of external controllers—but the game’s fine as it is. i think the additions i suggested would impact the story (and, in a way, the whole philosophy of the game) quite a lot.
why did I agree to watch the third avatar movie after playing the cheerful pikuniku
Baba… is mine.

(I was expecting to just purchase BIY but the winter sale is here so I also bought sideways Keke as well)
seeing other team’s project broken because their API keys for their AI got reported as leaked makes me a bit happy =)
and it looks like others as well

(translated to English by the way, except the German “du” which means “you” because I forgot to inspect element that)
