would probably be useful to replace my pinned with a notice that i'm more active on fedi, not wasteof.money. you can follow me at @tauon@possum.city
if you want more lily content (codeblock so i don't accidentally ping anyone)
i doubt that oren crashed the website but if he did, it was the GREATEST thing he has ever done. some of y’all be posting every thought you have to a point where ur brain is barely even yours, u chronically online fellows needed a 4 hour break or so to bring yourselves back to the real world
i ask as i’m making a gtk wasteof app and i’d like somebody with one to test it
tumblr is better than waste of money because if you drag the post button it goes weeeee send weest
oopsie woopsie i read someone's post wrong because i thought they were completely disagreeing with me but actually their post is only half bad
might also add a twitter like thing that goes at the bottom of posts saying like:
this post may be not good
rules idea:
account must be at least one day old
account must have more than 10 followers but less than 100 (i.e., don’t be a noname, but not everyone can know you)
has to have made at least 5 posts
can’t be spam
posts have to actually be good
has to log in semi-often (like, once a week?)
cannot be an automated account, nor a gimmick account (those are cool but not what we’re looking for)
might make an underrated accounts section on my wasteof client and you can nominate people to be listed
EDIT: the followers would be in reverse order (lowest first)
comments don’t show on feeds
Controversy aside, why does everyone insist on reposting everything? The replies exist for a reason.
i do consider alternative viewpoints as much as i possibly can
they’ve just proven to suck mad cock ok
EDIT: i mean the other viewpoints are bad, i do not agree with them
What I want to know is why everyone is so against listening to things they disagree with. It's objectively a good practice to consider opposing viewpoints.
