7.22.23 || Why are glasses and braces stereotypically associated with "nerds"? Some people need glasses to see, and some people need braces to align their teeth, both of which are very important to enjoy life — and these things are very common — so there's really no reason to single people out as a result of them. After all, those crutches or casts for broken bones are not usually called "nerds"...
7.20.23 || [toxicity removed]
7.19.23 || How does one get rid of the friendly-yet-pesky neighborhood garden rabbit?
7.18.23 || At about 16800 forum posts, I am now the Scratcher with the 3rd largest number of forum posts of all time. I suspect I will be beaten within a few months, but holding this record for at least some period of time is an achievement in itself. For those curious, I am still the #1 poster in the Questions about Scratch and Suggestions forums — and I'm nowhere close to being beaten in the former (almost 8000 posts)!
7.14.23 || if this notebook gets 10 loves i will make a part 2
7.13.23 || It's official: for the first time in many months, my message count has finally dipped below 20,000. I suspect that messages get deleted after a year, or something like that. Let's see what happens from here.
7.11.23 || This is the third time today where in the back of my mind I had memories of eating a certain food, feeling its taste and texture, and then immediately forgot the taste, texture, and food a split second later. Actually this time it might have been packaged ham (deli/lunch meat). The first time might have been duck or pork (as part of ramen). The second one was probably also some sort of meat, but I can't really confirm that.
7.10.23 || For some reason I have developed an overwhelming desire to memorize the locations of all the Canadian provinces and territories.
7.7.23 || "Controversy is happening over at the grocery store. Thankfully, it turns out that I have a secret protector who is willing to help me get my groceries. I don't know who it is, but whoever this secret protector is, thank you. I hope you forever remain a mystery, and I hope that I can continue to get my groceries in peace."
7.6.23 || The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is extremely good. Unfortunately, it is no better than The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild — which is still a compliment, since Breath of the Wild is also extremely good — but there are many things that Tears of the Kingdom does better and worse, and so I cannot consider it a sequel which is "clearly better" than the original. The two games are equal in greatness.
7.4.23 || 4th of July
7.3.23 || If you claim that DD/MM/YYYY is the better format, you're wrong. In fact, if you claim that MM/DD/YYYY is the better format, you're also wrong. Obviously there are benefits to both formats, and there is no one "better" way to write the date (within the appropriate context, of course). It's like claiming that Fahrenheit is better than Celsius (or vice versa).
6.29.23 || When I was younger, I thought politics was either "left" or "right." Then I got a little older and I started to understand that it's actually a spectrum, from left to right. But today I made the realization that that's not true either; it's actually two-dimensional, like, a square. A huge political SQUARE. I suspect one day I'll learn that the entire thing all lies on the surface of a SPHERE!
6.28.23 || Be high contrast
6.23.23 || Today is the day where I get over my fear of the number 23.
