I really need a laptop to start coding. Ik there are apps and Scratch to code, but they are limited.

I know what programs you could use for python (and I think the IDE works with lots of other langs too)

The ide I use is VS code, and you have to download python and the right extensions (https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/python/python-tutorial)

One thing to note when installing python is when you see a checkbox saying something about PATH (in all caps) make sure it’s ticked.
