I made a website for my Christmas/birthday list last year. It used python (blegh), replit db, vanilla js html and css, and was served on replit. It took me like a month. I made version 2 of it in just over a week I think, and it uses sveltekit, tailwind css, mongodb, and is served on vercel.

It’s kinda slow to load some pages because vercel can’t use bcrypt so it has to use the slower bcryptjs
