reminds me of my old middle school, started becoming more and more 1984 the closer i got to graduation

  • no phones. first offense, taken away for the period. second, sent up to front office, third parents called. no one actually took it seriously until one teacher tricked a class into giving her like 25 phones

  • no bathrooms during class, only during transitions because someone kept stuffing toilet paper in the toilets.

  • main hall only because some guys had a dukeout in a side hall

  • sit in your lunch seat when you get your food

anyway it was a thrilling time

A small compilation of rules that my school made this year

  • We canā€™t stay in the rooms during lunch, we have to go out into a common area (my school is kinda weird and we used to usually stay in our respective rooms during lunch)

  • They take away all our devices for the whole day. This includes my Apple Watch (but it wasnā€™t enforced today šŸ˜)

  • We have to go to the bathroom as a group (despite the fact that you can see the bathroom from the door of my classroom), we canā€™t go by ourselves like we used to

  • There has to be an adult in the room at all times during class, so if the teacher needs to go to the bathroom then someone has to come in

So yeah itā€™s kinda bad but luckily I only go on Mondays so itā€™s not every day. My school is pretty good otherwise, because we have a ton of freedom and thereā€™s only 10 kids in each class (although I might go to normal school next year)
