, it doesn’t store passwords plain. It hashes it before storing to be more secure.
um asucktually, you forgot one important detail. you clearly forgot to account for the objective fact that wasteof.money hashes AND salts your password before it gets stored into the database (mongodb).
maybe hashing like 5 times (passwords) instead of one time crypto module?
