languages that use symbols for words instead of a set of phonic characters look way cooler imo

I mean a set of phonic symbols, rather than 1 or 2 unique symbols for each word
oh i didn’t see the “words” part of the post
i think the technical term is a logography but the last time i heard that term was 5 years ago
