how did I pass Chemistry but not Math

I blame it on the fact it’s Pre-Calculus

Edit: Apparently people didn’t understand what I meant when I say “Pre-Calculus” so I’m going to clarify. tl;dr: it’s basically limits, derivatives and integrals for people coming from algebra.

I’m a highschooler at 11th grade out of 12 grades. We’re using the revised 2016 curriculum (even though 10th graders are using the new 2022 one for an odd reason, but that’s not important.) On this curriculum, high school classes are split into 2 field: natural science and social science, each with their own supplementary subjects. I’m on the natural science field, so I had Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Supplementary Math as my supplementary subjects.

The “Math” I’m referencing here is Compulsory Math, basically a Math subject for the two fields. For the subject we had arithmatic progression, limits, derivatives, and integrals as the subject for final exam. When I wrote this, I thought (except the arithmatic progression) that this is similar to what people might say Pre-Calculus, so that’s what I wrote.
