i wanted to get back into my 2ds xl after i heard the eshop closed down, i told my dad a bit ago if i still have it and he got it from storage yesterday
no surprise, its dead
so i ordered stuff that i lost which were a charger, a stylus, and a sd card (128gb)
i believe its on outdated firmware (11.16.0.49?) so i can mod it

you can mod on latest firmware with a new family 3ds anyway, but its easier imo on that old firmware. you can still update afterwards
yeah i know i could mod it on the latest firmware
but i rather make it easier on myself

its easier than having an old 3ds on new firmware. i checked your suspected firmware and you should be able to use seedminer.
it could be an older firmware version
we'll find out once I charge it up next week
