have you tried the second hand market? its great for beginners, then once you can make a decision about your curiosity, purchase a brand new one
cameras are VERY expensive though, even a basic 16MP micro four-thirds camera can cost around $1200 (NOT including extra lenses/SD cards/accessories)
my dad was against buying second hand although i would’ve gotten a good deal. he’s in japan and found a new olympus pen e-pl-10 for like $300, it’s a micro four thirds camera with a kit lens and stuff. so now i just need a wrist/neck strap thingy ($20?) and an SD card (already have one) and i’m set. so excited to try it out when he comes back!
sounds great! yeah same my dad is against second hand for anything, 300$ for the epl10 is a steal! hope you have fun with it!
