ELECTION RULES
Voting starts on Monday, 30th June 2025 at 00:00 BST and ends on Monday, 7th July 2025 at 0:00 BST. Any votes cast outside of this window will not be valid.
1 vote per person. Any attempt to vote on more than 1 account will result in all your votes being invalidated. Candidates can still vote for themselves (or another person?).
You must have joined wasteof before Friday, 27th of June 2025 to vote.
If you are running, and you attempt to boost your campaign in an unfair way, you will be immediately disqualified from the election and become ineligible to run in any future elections.
If you are running for president, you may not also be another candidate’s VP nominee. (However, you can still be appointed as a cabinet member by the winner.)
The winner of the election will be announced between the end of the election and Wednesday, 9th of July 2025 at 23:59, and they will officially become president on Friday, 11th of July 2025.
You may not change your vote, unless the person you voted for has been disqualified.
Your running mate may not be an alt account of yourself.
These rules are subject to change.

I do not understand why anyone would preorder something like the switch 2. Is the idea that you trust Nintendo to be good enough that you don’t need to see reviews before buying? but why not just wait till it’s out and then buy it? is it cheaper? it’s not like there’s any holidays right now that justify needing it right now right? it’s not a need now item unless your livelihood revolves around Nintendo products right? also there’s likely issues with first batches of a new product right? so why not wait a month? is it just manufactured FOMO? what’s with this consumption culture? hello??
prepending “Swiss” before everything makes my life seem much more interesting than it really is.
just took the Swiss train from my Swiss private school to a Swiss bank to open a Swiss bank account, about to go eat dinner at a Swiss restaurant
historians should really stop using the words “modern” and “contemporary”. you’d think they’re the group that understands the passage of time the best
