i would have been concerned if you had said that to anyone. if you say "if it’s so bad, do something about it" right after saying "are you going to survive?", it doesn’t look very good.
that’s why you have to be careful online with what you say, though. :D
or maybe just try not to misinterpret comments to the worst degree? as an adult, always assume the good in people!

I agree with @determenter, I understood what it meant. Just try to assume good faith instead of bad faith.
