But on here, more like 90% of users make the content. It’s a lot more of a community, unlike others like YouTube where it’s just you absorbing other people’s content.

It’s smaller, so people knowing about the site are more likely to care enough to post content. Also, you could argue wasteof is kind of bad at showing you posts apart from your feed which only exists when logged in
