It's wild just how statistically unlikely so many things are. For example, I am now great friends with someone I met during DnD and only because we both had time after the session, my family was camping, and that we were both there in the first place. All of that could've been different and then we wouldn't be friends, but it all happened just like that :D

but you wouldn’t even be thinking of how unlikely this is if it hadn’t happened. for example, there are billions of other unlikely things that didn’t happen that you don’t think about (because they never came to your attention/you never had to think about them), such as getting struck by lightning, but we only comprehend/consider the things that happen to us making them they seem much more unlikely than they are. i actually think about this a lot (every time something unlikely happens) lol
