Because “secure” is a nerd buzzword, and the real “open source*” is relying on a bunch of volunteers to do the grunt work while higher-ups make all the (bad) decisions. I use Firefox alright, doesn’t mean I like it :/

pretty sure that was about polls using a json-like format, not polls formatted to be human-readable (see https://wasteof.money/posts/651d6e7878d5f244b8588c53, where he specifies “poll systems like this“ (emphasis added))

no, he also specified to me elsewhere that polls should be avoided altogether. trust me, i’m the developer of the browser extension that adds polls :)
