The amount of loves this weest receives will be the number of push-ups I'll do every day for the next month.
Updates will be posted in the comments.
day 15 (33 loves):
I started today off with a set of 8, then did two sets of 7, a set of 6 and finally a set of 5.
My arms really weren’t feeling like it today :(. At least I didn’t miss a day.
day 14b (32 loves):
Set of 10, set of 8, followed by two sets of 7.
I missed a day. I’m going to be taking more extreme measures to make sure this doesn’t happen again. February 29th isn’t real. I’m tired. Zzz…
you’re crushing it! And good on you for paying attention to form.
Keep going!
Thank you so much! I think I’ll make a tiny update post once I finish day 15.
day 13 (31 loves):
I started out with a set of 10! Then did a set of 9, a set of 8 and finally a set of 4.
I may or may not have completely forgotten about this challenge yesterday… Fortunately, it was supposed to be my day off, but I guess that’s just a lucky coincidence.
day 11 (31 loves):
Today I did two sets of 8, one set of 6 and one set of 9.
I’ve been looking into proper push-up techniques, so they were a little harder to perform today. I think that’s a good thing, though.
day 10 (31 loves):
I did four sets of 7 and finished with a set of 3.
I feel like most of my initial motivation has worn out. It’s definitely gotten a lot easier physically, but harder mentally. I haven’t given up yet, so that’s good.
day 9 (31 loves):
Today I did seven sets of 4 and then one set of 3.
I really wasn’t feeling like it today to be honest, but at least I was still able to finish them all. I may or may not try a little harder tomorrow.
day 8 (31 loves):
I did three sets of 7 and then did two sets of 5.
I think it’s actually getting easier.
day 7 (32 loves):
I managed to do two sets of 8. Then did a set of 9 and then finished with a set of 7.
I’m trying my best to do proper push-ups, but at some point that’s just not feasible anymore. So you should take some of these numbers with a grain of salt, especially some of the later sets. I think I might just survive this challenge!
day 6 (a day off):
This day was inevitably going to arrive, and it’s a little silly that I didn’t see it coming. Nothing bad has happened, but my arms have hurt for most of this week at this point, and I can’t imagine it being healthy for me to continue this without at least taking a day off once every week.
I’m not quitting the challenge! I will be back tomorrow to do my push-ups as normal.
day 5 (31 loves):
I started off with two sets of 5 today. I wanted to try to push myself a little more, though, so I followed up with a set of 7 and then a set of 8! I completed to final 6 push-ups and finished, for now…
I can’t believe the love count is still increasing so rapidly… For some reason most of my muscle strain disappeared when I woke up this morning so that was a nice change.
day 4 (27 loves):
started of with 4 sets of 5. I then did a set of 2 and realized I was not ready for more. I ended up finishing the last 5 later.
It’s definitely getting easier, but I’m really not sure why.
day 3 (26 loves):
Today I managed to do 5 sets of 5 with varying rest periods. And eventually did one more set of 1.
It felt quite a lot easier to do today for some reason, even though my arms clearly already hurt a little before starting. I think that has more to do with my brain just kind of accepting that this is what my life is like now, I guess.
day 2 (22 loves):
Started out with a set of 5, took short break, and then did another 3. I realized that this would be a little tougher than I expected it to be, so I decided to start taking longer rest periods from now on. I came back and managed to do another 5. did another 4 after a longer break. And finally finished off with the final 5 push-ups.
Bruh. The number of loves on this weest have literally doubled since I last checked… I’m gonna try to spread out my sessions more to make it more manageable for now.
