don’t make eye contact with anyone. you never know what’s going to happen. if someone approaches you (especially on the train), look at the ground, or really anywhere but them. if you do this, you will probably be fine.

mental illness and violence. for example i was on the train the other day and someone who was clearly not well was next to me. i’d like to look at them to get a better understanding of what to do but it’s better to look out of the corner of your eye as to not upset people. if you do, it could escalate.
