I find it interesting that Americans have a choice if they want to vote or not. In Australia, once you turn 18 (next year 
) it's mandatory to go and vote. If you dont, you get fined

You can't write down other names (the vote will not count if you do), there is a set selection of people. We do have donkey voting tho
