there’s so much that i want to say right now that i can’t write all at once. almost the entire community on darflen is here attacking jeffalo because he’s the janitor and creator of wasteof, the one who cleans up for the messes of roughly a thousand users. jeffalo wasn’t the one who was antisemitic, spammed slurs, or sent gore videos to others. wasteof is a big project, and he only wanted a community where we could unite and interact with one another. just today, jeffalo performed a 10 hour long maintenance on the website, and it shows that he really cares about this community and website that he built from the ground up. wasteof also depends on its users to be active and be friendly to each other, and moderation is crucial. the problem is that moderators need to be trusted with the power of controlling how users can interact on the website, and the other moderators aren’t him. there’s currently only two moderators, himself and tnix. he’s really careful about granting others moderation power. it’s a huge risk, but you need to take it multiple times to manage a large-scale community. blaming people for what wasteof is as a whole hurts the rest of the community. would you blame the one who discovered fire for every arson ever committed? and if you’re still banned and trashtalking wasteof or attacking others for it, there’s a good reason you were banned. you’re not adding anything much if you just complain.

more bullshit that you don’t care about on Darflen today, as the site got hit by a spammer who made over 50 posts within 20 minutes, which is more posts than have ever been made on the site to this day. the spammer was then banned, and that’s basically it. so yeah, nothing of note.
