@jeffalo At this point, why not let us choose any hex colour, because there’s no restrictions on grey anymore, and I want to dial in the perfect shade of teal on my profile.

because it’s not possible. i would either have to completely redo the way the site is styled, or i would have to come up with some hack to allow the custom colours.
i currently can only support tailwind’s colours, because it allows me to use different shades and use them in all sorts of places without worrying about contrast ratios. (eg. if someone makes their colour black, then the text would need to be changed to white everywhere)
i also do not trust that everyone will choose colours that look good. :P
if there’s a specific tailwind colour (from https://tailwindcss.com/docs/customizing-colors) you want, that’s different enough from the existing colours, then let me know.
