it got much worse later to the point you could see almost nothing, I’ve never been in such thick fog while driving it was crazy

ahhh we get really bad fog like that or worse regularly where i live so i definitely empathize lol, its kinda scary. glad you were safe!
Thanks! I usually only ever see either mountain fog or the kind that pools in fields in the morning, it was a bit surprising when it rolled in from nowhere and got thicker and thicker
