the earbuds I ordered just got here and
they have this loud static noise the whole time for some reason
despite being wired, they require bluetooth to function?!?
the volume settings are wack, like if I tick it up one notch (say, to drown out the static) it’s already bordering on too loud
I guess at least they actually work, that’s enough for now

I ordered a cheap kind so it’s probably those specific ones, it’ll last me until I can get a nicer pair. My old ones were great, but I’ve had them for I think over two years and they don’t work so well now
ive heard that the nothing ear 1s are pretty good, unless OP is into the apple ecosystem AND is willing to pay a lot for airpods, they shouldnt get airpods
ah i have no clue abt wired earbuds lol - the only ones ive used are low quality ones shipped with low end android phones or the apple earbuds.
They’re just what I’m used to, the few times I’ve tried wireless they fall out all the time and or aren’t as comfortable. Air pods also do a weird sound thing if they move if I remember right
yeah the nothings are pretty good. I like AirPods better though, because I use apple products
