funny story, today some company emailed me up (they are a marketing company) and they yapped a bunch but basically they want me to pay them $945 and they will do a bunch of marketing for ToastyRoasty (toastyroast.radi8.dev :D) but i kinda can’t really afford that + i’m not interested in it

it’s really cool seeing what happened to a project that took me 8 hours to make though and i’m excited for the future of my projects! :)

This is a good sign that you could be making money off your projects, outside of occasional donations.

You should look into monetization. I know you’re building these projects for the fun of it or for the learning experience, and it seems like you’ve got a long time before you’ll have bills to pay, but I often wish (despite learning and having a lot of fun with my projects when I was younger) that I had taken some of that time to figure out getting rich off the things I wanted to do anyways.

that’s a good point! while I do have a job, I am thinking of adding supporter perks (extra storage and such) to my website

You should! Start experimenting

currently my big project (SparkShell) is unreleased but before I release it I’ll experiment with things like that!
