still impressed by that time everyone shut down their subreddits for two whole days because reddit’s api changes were awful
like, that’s one of the few times everyone on the internet stopped arguing with each other and faced the bigger enemy
still a bit sad that entire protest never amounted to any change to the api rules

I wonder if it would have worked if there were better alternatives. Every suggested alternative site was either somewhat complicated or boring
