I wonder how many GB it would take to download the entire world (on google maps). So you could go anywhere and be able to navigate to your destination. No matter the location.

probably something like 32GB if it’s just the maps themselves or like 732TB if you want the satellite images too
A lot of random people on the internet seem to think it’s somewhere between 3pb and 20pb
I estimate several terabytes. I once downloaded a 43k earth map which was 600mb and it wasn’t even that detailed lol.
