When I tried editing my first video with DaVinci, I was plagued by a lack of VRAM. It would just keep using up any and all available VRAM before crashing, usually within a few minutes. My RX 6800XT has 16GB Eventually, the whole file got corrupted (how is still unknown) and I had to scrap a couple weeks of progress.

Fortunately, it seems to have been fixed, although I haven’t worked with as much footage since that first video (about 2+ hours)

to be fair it is a Hollywood-grade video editor (and the download is like 20GB)
