Schroedingers Cat has me wondering: Does something exist if it isn’t observed?

Quantum mechanics probably has the answer but I’m too dumb to understand that

I mean, electrons change position if you observe them. I guess anything is possible but the prior observation of it implies it still exists, but is both alive and dead until it is observed

Ok, but think of this: There is an unknown object in a room. The room is sealed. If no one knows there is something in the room, does it physically or theoretically exist until it is actually observed?
