Okay, I've seen two posts online today saying that Gen Beta started today.
This literally is not true. It's most widely supported and agreed upon that Gen Z lasted from 1996-2012, meaning Gen Alpha lasts 2013-2028.

Tf you mean "they're getting shorter" dawg gen alpha ain't even nearly old enough to make gen beta 
we mark generational changes in this way not by average age of parenthood, but by lifestyle changes attributed to identity-defining cultural developments
as the world changes faster, generations get shorter
