i have unfortunately fallen victim to instagram reels. it hasn’t even been two weeks and i’m already extremely addicted, my avg time on instagram shot up from 10min/day to 2hr/day 
tomorrow will be the first day of my instagram reels detox. let’s get my life (and attention span) back!!
you know your age group is cooked when you’re getting clowned by everyone for not being addicted to instagram reels and clash royale 
one of the pastors put three random volunteers in charge of sound today without even asking me if i was available
the stream audio is clipping so much it’s making my heart hurt
the head audio/visual guy at my church left and didn’t give the rest of the team the password to the only computer that controlled the entire system so now we basically lost access to thousands of dollars worth of hardware and software
oh also all the church has left to run services while they find someone else are three highschoolers (myself included) with limited education and experience so that’s gonna be fun

small rant :P
so my mom just tried to hit one of those “are you sure u wanna do this??” things and showed me an engineering job listing for $500k/year i “could’ve possibly gotten” in the future at OpenAI if i hadn’t decided to give up engineering to pursue music. i have a few problems with this because:
my goal isn’t to pursue money anymore but to be happy. music genuinely makes me happy.
i have plenty of issues with big corps in general when it comes to ethics, especially OpenAI.
so tl;dr am i missing out? the way i see it, no, because i would rather do something that makes me happy
also i’m still a high schooler so i don’t really need to be worrying about some silly job listing that may or may not exist in the future
being sick sucks
