To explain: I used to always use glasses. I just couldn’t see anything without them. However, some time ago, maybe even 5 years ago, I just … used my glasses less? It started with just not putting them on all days, which became not all weeks, not all months, then most months without glasses. I just put them on for the first time since.. August? As well as just learning to not use glasses as much, it actually worked, it wasn’t just some illusion, as the less I used glasses, the less strong glasses I actually needed. This was simply proven by me using gradually less strong correction on my glasses ever since I stopped using the glasses as much, while it was correcting more strongly every year and change of glasses before. For a while, in maybe 2022, I used glasses just to read (IIRC my vision problem is to do with short distances), but then I stopped using glasses for this too.
It probably helped that I didn’t use the internet or even screen devices a lot before 2022. Before 2020, my favourite digital device was … a CD player.
TL;DR I tried wearing glasses less which led to me needing them less and now I don’t need them anymore
