Darflen mayoral election candidature: main points
“Cleaning up” Darflen - fixing old issues, regaining trust from other websites. Following 3 subpoints:
A “Darflen janitors” community, where users collaborate to find and report old rule-breaking content
A “welcoming committee” community, to encourage new users to stay on Darflen longer, thus preventing userbase stagnation
Standardisation of mayoral elections - we get a vice mayor (second most votes) each election and there’s definite boundaries on what the mayor can and can’t do
If I’m elected, the community chooses some emojis which remain as my display name for 2 months (1/3 of a mayoral term)
