I cannot believe that after multiple opportunities for you to step back, realise you overstepped and apologise, you’re STILL insisting your
“Your best move is to just ignore bigots” is INSANELY privileged of you. Imagine an opposite world where straight people are the minority, and every day, everyone else is telling you there’s something wrong with you, and that your existence is a “sin”, wouldn’t YOU get sick and tired of that? Or do you just completely lack empathy as a person.
“You performed your defense in a bad manner” is the LITERAL definition of tone policing. AGAIN, “yes they were being horrible nasty people but you were too loud and might have hurt their feelings while defending yourself

Where did you get this ego thing from? I didn’t say that what the Christians were doing was good, I just said that they will probably keep their beliefs, so it’s probably not even worth it to argue about it, and I was tone-policing, but only to help you. There are probably a lot of Christians in the middle, but if you just start disrespecting their bible, then they’re probably not going to go to your side. I’m advising you don’t actively argue with them, but saying that if you are going to, then I’m trying to find a way that won’t alienate people from joining your side. This isn’t coming from a place of ego, it’s coming from a place of me trying to help you get your point across better if you do decide to continue posting. I understand why you’re upset, but please stop putting words in my mouth and assume good faith for once. Also homosexuality in Christianity IS a sin. Sure, the bible has had lots of mistranslations, and a lot of them can be traced, but they are still held in mainstream belief, so according to most devout christians, homosexuality is still a sin. (this is one of the main reasons I’m not christian).
