Right, halloween's basically over so I feel justified in talking about christmas.
So, for several years I've been holding a ‘christmas light count', where I attempt to count the properties that I see displaying christmas decorations that year. This is of course quite difficult to keep track of (ignoring the problem of trying to remember which lights I've already seen) because I'm not very good at remembering the number I'm on. The solution? A spreadsheet of course! This also allows me to look at the rate of appearance of christmas lights throughout november and december. This year's count will start tomorrow.
I was going to put the graph for last year here, but I can't export it large enough on my phone… it might happen tomorrow!

I love it when people can be nice to each other and just get along despite their differences.

I was back in Sheffield yesterday for the swim england national summer meet yesterday which was nice. no photos of the peak district this time :(
I simply don’t know who to vote for. It’s tempting to vote for myself as an independent candidate but it would feel a bit cheeky. Maybe I’ll make a campaign and see how few votes I can get…
