harmful, because bigotry is rooted in stereotypes. i think that making your jokes accessible to people who don´t look at something and immediately see it as a joke is more important that “not kinda killing it”, and a simple /j does not “kill it”. i do usually use strikethrough for this though, as at least to me it does not affect how funny the joke looks at all
Clearly you don't understand humor at all. If someone’s offended by my jokes then they're not my target audience anyway and I have no reason to try and pmease them (which is impossible anyway). Also, the word “bigot” is kinda funny to me because it sounds almost like mustache in my native language.
