England is a country, United Kingdom is a collection of England, wales, scotland and norhern island. Britain is talking about the main island so England Scotland wales. And the British isles is all of them plus Republic of Ireland. There are a bunch of smaller islands I didn’t mention too, So basically just look at this map:

Are you talking about Scotland and Great Britain and Wales and Northern Ireland, in which case UK. Otherwise, just Great Britain. I’m not British, I’m Northern Ireland…ish, so ha, I’m responding to it anyway.
