You’d think Alphabet (Google) would buy the TLD of like .alphabet or something but instead they choose .zip and mess up everything.
Also .mill for wynd.mill when (probably not gonna happen due to .mil being a thing [us military] and it might be too similar, although they let .zip slide so like….)

google already owns .goog, .gle, .google, .youtube and more. also as far as i can tell, they haven’t registered any new tlds since 2014ish, and alphabet only started existing in 2015.
Yeah, and no one can take .alphabet from them, because if someone tries to register it, it would be auctioned ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Until they have a plan for what to use it for, they don’t have to buy it (obviously they would win any bidding war that happens
