Elon is like many other free speech enthusiasts who only pretend to support free speech until they gain power or a seat at the table. they then try to ban links to other social media (or competition) and only allow the speech that they like. he has literally said (when asked about hate speech and racism) that hate speech should be allowed and that only its reach should be limited. But when it comes to this, he decides to ban the term “cis” (which is not hateful, not rooted in deep historical trauma, and is not offensive???)

The same can be seen with Ron DeSantis. He holds literal Nazi ideologies and tries to ban drag, books about slavery/racism/LGBTQ+ topics, as well as other free speech expression, just because he doesn’t like it. (while at the same time parading free speech). Banning math books because they mention discrimination doesn’t make any sense.

Nazis also know that if they start by telling people that they want to ban books/speech, no one will like them, so neo-Nazis have to hide behind absolute free speech until they get the power to do what they actually intend. it’s like pedophile-hunters (or scam-exposers) who are themselves pedophiles or who themselves promote/run scams. Or like andrew tate, who calls out a few legitimate social problems before spreading hate/violence against a large part of the population.
