Slight political opinion incoming
It's interesting to see how much we value the idea of equality and fight for it when it is purely a construct of our society (I support equality but it's just an idea rather than something more... Based on physical reality).
I also sometimes think about how the idea of equality is slightly flawed different than expected. For example, men and women usually don't play sports together because men are physically stronger, which would make it unfair competitively. This isn't "equal" but people don't really care.
Basically what I'm trying to say is that there are actual differences between things which don't make it equal but we try to make it equal still
but equality is definitely attainable in the vast majority of circumstances (income, fair treatment, working conditions, hiring practices, etc.)
(itβs about giving everyone a fair chance and making sure that everyone can be on equal footing :D)
