I totally can understand why people would want to use AI to do all the boring jobs and tasks us humans don't wanna do but I don't get why we want to outsource all the fun creative stuff to AI and machines in general

I feel like AI images are good for things like photo editing where you need to generate part of the background or remove errors, but otherwise it’s just stealing from artists
You have your own image generating neural network, it’s called your brain, people should really try training it
absolutely, ai is at its best when it’s being used a tool for making existing processes smoother, it becomes problematic whenever it’s applied as a substitute for work people want to do bc they enjoy and have a knack for it
it will allow untalented people to mass-produce mediocre works and profit off of the labor of talented artists without needing to credit anyone or requiring any skill so it fits perfectly in line with capitalism’s attitude towards art as a whole
