Funny how blaze made one post endorsing trump, then the whole website freaked out and started getting political. Numerous posts mocking blaze and trump were posted. The @socialism account was made, and more. All from one post. Yet it’s blaze who is making wasteof political!! It’s all their fault ofc.

I think it’s fine to criticise blaze over their choice of candidate. But it’s stupid to say “Blaze stop talking about politics on wasteof! Your so annoying”. And then in the next sentence give their own political monologue about how trump is racist and hates gay people. Everything I’ve seen lately is very hypocritical.

to rephrase what i said - kyle brought politics into discussion, necessary or not, and now that it is here it's important that it's not just ignored

Ok, that’s fine, but don’t criticize him for being political then. Simple.

i never have

Then this post wasn’t talking about you

Saying trump is racist and homophobic…isn’t political. It has nothing to do with the fact that he’s running for president or any of that shit, and it’s simply describing a couple of rather frowned-upon beliefs that he has. Blaze’s post was political, as it endorsed him as a political candidate. Most other posts that were made in response to blaze were not political and were instead criticizing trump as a person, not a candidate. Saying trump is bad because he’s racist and homophobic isn’t political. Saying trump is bad because his campaign policies and arguments are shitty would be political. I, like Mrowlssss and Mybearworld and others, would prefer to keep most if not all political posts off of wasteof. One of the major upsides to wasteof is that it has historically been a very politically neutral website. Most users here would keep it that way, including jeffalo.

I never complained about people calling Trump a racist. I was telling people to knock it off and stop calling kyle tech racist just because he supports trump.

But it’s stupid to say “Blaze stop talking about politics on wasteof! Your so annoying”. And then in the next sentence give their own political monologue about how trump is racist and hates gay people.

Well yeah… it is. If I posted something saying Kamala Harris was a racist, that would be considered political.

It’s not political just because it mentions a political candidate. Talking about a certain notion he has does not make a post political, it makes it critical of trump. If I posted something that said “Trump is a terrible candidate because his policies suck and his arguments are nonexistent” then that would be considered political.
