Do you want Scotland to be it’s own country

It'd be nice to have Scotland be an independent country. I don't trust the SNP to do that. I'm guessing you're asking me this because you may believe I dislike England as a whole, that is not true. I've been on holiday in England plenty of times, ever since I was a baby to now. England has many lovely people and places. But the political environment of England has made the 3 other nations in the UK suffer greatly and makes it hard for us to be truly heard. An example of this is the Brexit vote, while overall the UK voted to leave, both Scotland and Northern Ireland overwhelmingly voted to remain, while England and Wales voted to leave. That means 2 out of 4 countries in the UK didn't want Brexit at all but had to go through with it anyway. A lot of Scots and Northern Irish use this as an example of how we feel left out of Westminster for the most part. It should be noted, England has around 50 million people, Scotland has 5 million. Even if every person in Scotland voted we still cannot actually sway an election that much. Margaret Thatcher destroyed massive parts of Scotland (and much of the other nations too) with her policies and hatred of the working class, Scotland was hit extremely hard by her policies. But in both elections, Scotland did not vote for her, yet we suffered her wrath regardless. And while we have more autonomy now than we did back then, we are still straddled by the fact that England essentially decides the fate of the whole union due to it's size.
