Re: me bringing back my blog
If you have a blog or know of interesting people with cool blogs, drop a link in this comment section! Bonus points if it’s independent (e.g., not on a platform like Substack or Hashnode). Really looking for some people to follow!
For anyone who is interested, I've started writing longer-form content on my personal blog again. More articles about self-hosting, web development, privacy, and design all coming soon!
How many of y'all are anti/pro generative AI? And why? Would love to find out what the community thinks.

I'm SO excited to announce that Itchy, the app for Scratch, is officially out on both the Google Play store and the iOS App Store! With the combined efforts of myself and @ileb we have finally got a release out cross-platform, and I'm very proud of it. I firmly believe that it's the easiest way to use Scratch on mobile, and I hope you'll give it a shot. You can find the download links at https://itchy.micahlindley.com/ if you're interested.
Within the next few weeks, I will officially be releasing Itchy version 2.0 - the most full-featured Scratch client for Android and iOS devices! It aims for full compatibility with anything that you'd regularly do on Scratch, in a way that's pretty to look at and easy to use. It also comes with cool built-in features like a custom key-mapped controller for playing Scratch projects only meant for desktop.
This is a huge deal for me and a ton of work has gone into it!
Struggling a lot with burnout on personal projects... really feeling the pain of having like five different projects that could have become something but are instead languishing in some unfinished state on my GitHub profile. How much of a developer are you if you never actually get a project to a finished state?
shake to report bug, coming soon to wasteof for Android
whoever designed “shake to report a bug” ux pattern must think users just start violently convulsing when something breaks
Latest wasteof for Android update broke the buttons in the header -- I'll try to roll out a hotfix tomorrow. Sorry, I'm off my game apparently
