so thats not really how it works, its x/x × (the rest of the fraction) = 1 × (the rest of the fraction) = the rest of the fraction, hard to explain online but just substitute different values of x in, it will give you different fractions based on the value of x
I mean if you want to be technical about it,
Let g(x) = x/x × f(x), h(x) = 1 × f(x) = f(x)
g = h iff f is undefined for 0
For all x where g is defined, f(x) = g(x) = h(x)
